The Du-Sante's unique mid-drive system is housed inside the crank set and connected directly to the bike's chain set. This strategic motor placement allows the motor to run within its optimum RPM range when the rider utilizes the bike's gearing system. Not for the beginner. When the rider shifts up in gears, the motor will ride in high gear to reach higher speed. This translates into a more efficient motor and a lighter, better balanced bike to increase both motor and battery capability.
